The
Jacques Marchais Museum of Tibetan Art is committed to promoting
the awareness of Tibetan art and culture through exhibitions, programs,
and publications. The Museum continually displays highlights from
its permanent collection, which consists primarily of Tibetan Buddhist
art from Tibet, Mongolia, and northern China from the fifteenth
to early twentieth centuries. The majority of the Museum's holdings
come from the private collection of Jacques Marchais, formed during
the 1930s and 1940s, which include a wide selection of statues of
buddhas, arhats, lamas, and protector deities as well as thangka
paintings, ritual artifacts, musical instruments, and historic photographs
of Tibet.

National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame is located in Saratoga
Springs, New York, across from the historic Saratoga Race Course,
the oldest operating track in the country. A visit to the Museum

oldest sports, Thoroughbred Racing has a long and rich history.
To tell the story of the sport, the National Museum of Racing and

Children's Museum at Saratoga is committed to providing positive
opportunities for children, ages 2-7, to learn about science, history,
community living and the arts. Interactive exhibits, special events
and workshops are designed to encourage children to learn by making
discoveries for themselves...explore the world of bones and skeletons.
Learn how bones protect our organs, see what a fracture looks like,
discover how an x-ray works and more. Humans have skeletons on the
inside, but some animals have skeletons on the outside. Match pictures
of animals with the correct skeletal structure, or discover how
joints work.
